Mary Kok-Willemsen has a perfect track record of over 16 years as a trainer / manager in the girls’ and women’s football. She has been head coach at all levels and set up girls soccer schools from scratch. A good example is the flourishing Girls Football School at
RKHVV in Huissen.
Mary believes the success of the women’s game is through a well-organized girls football academy. The FC Twente academy was set up by Mary and her colleagues in 2006 and has since expanded to the current success formula. Meanwhile, FC Twente delivers many youth internationals to national youth teams.
